A place with a unique atmosphere reminiscent of the old Milanese trattorias of the early 1900s, where you can find traditional Italian dishes and top-quality fresh produce. A classic for over 30 years.

Opened in 1958 and relocated in 1989 to its historic premises in Via Sottocorno, today Da Giacomo Milano is a classic of Milanese dining.

Atmosphere

Conceived and designed by architect Renzo Mongiardino, the restaurant is immersed in an atmosphere of yesteryear. Boiseries, stuccoes, arches and a patterned grit floor; unique furnishings, the work of expert craftsmen, make this place unforgettable and timeless. In fine weather, a small dehors overlooking Via Sottocorno allows outdoor dining.

Cuisine

Fish is the star of the menu, starting with the great classics of the Italian seafood tradition, such as spaghetti with clams, seafood salad and fish soup. The best catch from the fish market is displayed in the window at the entrance: crustaceans, white and blue fish, of different types and sizes, to satisfy the desires of every table. There is also an excellent selection of raw fish and a small vegetarian and meat offering.

Wine cellar

A selection of the best Italian labels, with a careful eye on the most noble and historic appellations, with old vintages and large formats. And, then, an indispensable French digression, with whites and reds from the best known terroirs and Champagnes from the great Maisons. Excellence, pleasantness and historicity.
